Please could you send me a copy of the MCom-1 syllabus as I am planning to apply for this course. As such I would like to know what is taught in each subject so I can make an informed decision regarding the optional papers.

Hi,

I actually need a syllabus as in what topics are covered under each subject. This breakdown is essential as the immigration will be using it to give me credits counting towards my highly skilled migration. I need to send these documents to them as soon as possible. I have been trying to find it from the past 12 hours but to no effect please can you help me find this syllabus.

Hi,
It is very difficult to find chapter details online so my suggestion would be, you should visit university once, go to IDE department, check out their library and get the detailed syllabus from them...

Thats the best solution I can see in this situation..

I am in New York right now. my parents are out of town too. Both Best friends have got married and left mumbai. Don't have that option. Its a mess.

I think one of my friend have got the book for MCOM I, i will try to get it tmrw and scan the chapter list...

But it is recent one i.e. 2005...so just confirm once so that i can get it and scan the same..

That should be fine i dont think the syllabus changes every year. I specialised in the Advanced accountancy papers (Group 1 optional papers) besides the compulsory ones. (Cost and financial accounting)

Actually I know 2 people who gave MCOM this year and unfortuenately one of them had given his books to someone else..

so now I have contacted the other guy, just tried to call him now, his cell is off...

I will try to get the books by tmrw and then scan the chapter index page and post it here..

If your friends are still doing MCom Part 2 they may be able to get a proper syllabus page from thier college or classes. But thanks anyways I will wait for your post.
