Smile Masters of Computer Application (MCA)

    Dear friends

Its been a long time since I have posted a message for u all. really sorry for that. today I got a call from Laxmi who say my posting in tybcom.com and had called for some help reg MCA. so I just decided to write this message to u all.

Its been one and half years Since I have passed out my tybcom from vivekanand college in chembur and I am currently doing Second year SEM 3 MCA from Institute of Management and computer studies (IMCOST) thane web site: www.imcost.org .

Now for all of those interested in getting into MCA here are some points…

    1) it does not matter from which field you belong to get admission for MCA
    2) You should have maths at least up to std 12..( we had Maths in fybcom and I guess this can also be used to get admission if u did not have maths in 12 pls check with institution)
3)you don’t need to have any prior computer knowledge
    4) MCA is not completely technical as some of u think. it covers a lot of subject which we have already done like ACCOUNTS, ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT, OPERATIONAL RESEARCH (TYBCOM) ETC.
5)MCA ENTRANCE EXAM IS NOT DIFFICULT TO CLEAR. YOU NEED GOOD SCORE TO GET INTO A GOOD INSTITUTION.
6)check out news paper for advertisement from RELIC ACADEMY for seminars which r conducted at ruai college.
    7)MCA is a 3 year course.
8)for entrance exam be prepared with maths (upto 12th maths ). Maths paper were simple for us as we did not have a lot of question from integration , calcus etc of 12 …. but be prepared.
